Clive
is an entirely self-taught artist specialising in graphite pencil
depictions of wildlife from around the globe.
A
professional artist since 1993, Clive is a keen naturalist, preferring,
where possible, to observe his subjects in their natural environment.
Individual
artworks can take as much as 100+ hours to complete, with each
one a myriad of graphite layers built up painstakingly with many
differing grades of pencil.
Clive
is passionate about conservation and welfare issues and has supported
many causes over the years through the sale of both original works
of art and limited edition prints, most notably the Born Free
Foundation and Secret World Wildlife Rescue. Clive is a signature
member of the Artists for Conservation Foundation and a Fellow
of The Wildlife Art Society International as well as a member
of the R.S.P.B.
We
hope that you will enjoy Clive's labours of love as much as he
enjoys creating them. You can follow Clive's latest projects via
